Flash Websites

The first website is Oldspice.com, which as soon as you get to the homepage a flash animation will start. The flash being used to run the flash on the website is flash player 10. The flash animation uses pictures taken from a camera that flows very well. The website displays and advertises its product well and the website is fun and comedic.
The second website is Gameland.com, The homepage has bright colors that are more aimed towards smaller children. The layout of the website is very basic and easy to navigate. The website uses flash but doesn't take full advantage of what flash can do. It has no flash animation, which are pretty key in a game website. The pictures on the home page are very primative and basic, that makes this website seem much less professional.

  1. Alex - you got the screen shots up - congratulations!
Now I would like to see them linked to the websites so I can see and navigate them.

Can't wait to see your deconstructed photo

  2. Alex where is your animation???

    Alex –
The speed of the hand and the fingers expanding is excellent, especially as they are in sync with the sound.
Your transitions work really nicely but I think you could have done more detail to the images. If you choose to have blank shapes as people then the colors need to be working and perhaps a bit more expressive.
The meeting of the lightening and the hands is very successful.
But I think the use of text is not very successful.
Also the way the images sit in the frame as a picture is good but could be better. They are over shadowed by the text.
